A Japanese woodblock print after Tōshūsai Sharaku’s (東洲斎 写楽, active 1794-5) The Actor Bando Mitsugoro II as Ishii Genzo. The work depicts a lone male figure, dressed in flowing robes, drawing a sword from its sheath. The print is present behind glass with wood grain mat and bamboo style wooden frame. Hanging wire on verso.
