Chinese French Empire Style Cloisonne and Brass Wind Up Shelf Clock

A Chinese French Empire style cloisonne and metal shelf clock. A French empire style clock with a gold-tone metal and royal blue cloisonne case that features enamel floral inlays that have a palette of yellow, green and red with gilded trim. The clock has a ceramic and brass finial with ring turned gold tone and ceramic side columns that are accented with spire finials. The columns flank a beveled glass door with a goldtone etched frame and the door displays a white ceramic dial with black Roman numerals. The dial has black serpentine hands with a red sweep hand and is finished with painted decorative scrollwork spandrels in green, orange and yellow and a painted center. Other features of the clock include side panels with painted landscape images and the clock stands on bun style feet with a winding key and setting knobs on the verso. The clock is in its original box with a cloth interior. There are no apparent makers marks.
