A dyed and tooled hide artwork by Coll, depicting classical architecture, in the appearance of the Parthenon. The piece has embossed outlines of trees and buildings, along with water based dyes, and appears to be made on pig skin. The piece is signed ‘Coll’ to the lower left and is presented matted in a wooden frame.

Condition

- hide is tanning from light exposure; warping throughout ground; residue on glass that won’t wipe off; right side of frame is unstable; toning and crease marks throughout backing paper on verso of frame.
