A rare, antique John Rose Caughley Coalport Chelsea Ewer sauce boat. This piece displays hand-painted overglaze decoration of multicolored floral cameos and swags on a white embossed ground. It features a squat form with a delicate scalloped edge and scrolled handle. No discernible maker’s marks are noted; however, the piece was likely produced in 1800.
