Antique George V Coronation Enameled Tin Cup

Item Details

An antique George V Coronation enameled tin cup. This cup features polychrome enameling over a tin base and portrays an image of Queen Mary within a floral cartouche to one side, and an image of Edward VII as a child, to the opposite side within a double cartouche, with the date 1911 below his image. This cup commemorates the coronation of Edward VII on May 22, 1911. The base of the cup does not appear to be marked.

Condition

- loss to the enameling, and some missing coverage in places to the decal.
