German Porcelain Cabinet Plates Including Von Bismark and Prince Whilelm
Item Details
A group of German porcelain cabinet plates including Von Bismark and Prince Whilelm of Germany. The plate featuring a transfer image of Prince Wilhelm has a pierced inner rim and a sawtooth outer rim which is pierced with circles and accented with gilt. This plate does not appear to be marked. Included is a second plate featuring a transfer of Otto Von Bismark. The plate front translates to ‘The only thing Germans Fear is God’. The reverse of the plate is stamped ‘Friedr. Wilh. Krumm Porzellan-Manufactur Crefeld’.
