Antique Commemorative Pilsner Glasses

A collection of antique commemorative pilsner glasses. The collection is made up of three glasses used in the celebration of different 19th century European events. Among the group is silver anniversary glass celebrating the 25th anniversary of Kaiser Whilelm II and August Victoria of Schewig-Holstein. The glass features a black and white image of the pair surrounded by decorative scrolls with silver accents. Another glass in the collection commentaries the 70th birthday and the 25 jubilee of Konigs Albert von Sachsen in 1898. The glass is decorated with a colorful transferred design featuring the German king along with his birthdate and years of reign. A glass commenting the 238 year anniversary of the Prussian Seebataillon or Marines. The glass features a pair of crossed anchors on one side and the other the years 1680-1918 on the other.
