A selection of antique porcelain cabinet plates featuring Prussian commanders. Each of the plates has a pierced lip and shaped rim with gilded details. The two smaller plates offer portraits of Otto von Bismarck wearing a Pickelhaube,. His bust is encircled by a laurel and oak leaf wreath and ‘Bismarck’ is printed below. The larger plate honors Paul von Hindenburg. He is depicted wearing numerous military decorations and he, too, is framed by a wreath. A black Iron Cross with ‘W/1914’ appears above and ‘v.Hindenburg’ appears below the portrait.
