A graphite drawing on paper titled Old Horse by Belgian artist James Sidney Ensor (1860 – 1949), created in 1880. This work depicts a horse rendered wearing a harness and blinders. This piece is signed and dated towards the lower right corner. Presented behind glass in a white mat and wood frame. A metal plaque providing the artist’s name and title is present to the mat.

Condition

- toning throughout ground; graphite smudges along edges of drawing; discoloration around signature; foxing along bottom left portion of ground; minor wear to corners of frame.
