Item Details
An extra long power loomed Indo-Caucasian wool carpet runner. It features a repeating harshang style medallion pattern on a field of rectilinear floral and foliate elements, in a palette of ecru, pale yellow, teal, scarlet and taupe. It has a wide rectilinear guard border of stylized palmettes and meandering Karabagh-style vine devices, alternating with flower heads in a complementary palette. The border is flanked on either side by a barber pole pattern. It has overcast edges with cropped, cotton warp fringe at each end. It is unlabeled.
