A collection of three original vintage watercolor illustrations on paper by well-listed American activist, entrepreneur, and artist Alice Gore King (New York, 1914 – 2007). The first is a 1949 piece titled Hallway that depicts an interior space as viewed through an open doorway. The second is a 1955 piece titled Arch that depicts a unique doorway in a minimalist, industrial interior space. The final piece is a 1955 painting titled Chip Chop – I – Katherine Cornell’s house, Vineyard Haven; it depicts rooftops standing against a pale pink sky. _Hallway is signed to the lower corner, and all three are signed, titled, and dated to the verso. Presented without framing.
