Item Details
A vintage German power-loomed Persian-style area rug by Vorwerk. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of ivory, cornsilk, salmon, black, and rose. The ivory colored field features an ornate design of vine-work with palmettes, blossoms, and leaves. Framing the field is a main stylized herati pattern, along with a number of floral designed guard borders. Finishing this rug are folded edges and ends, and is marked with ‘Vorwerk’ to the underside in a pile.
