Vintage Edwin Bennett Semi-Porcelain Pitcher and Basin
Item Details
An early 20th century Edwin Bennett semi-porcelain water pitcher and wash basin. The pieces feature a transfer printed floral design in brown with hand-embellished accents in blue and green and brushed gilding to the molded scroll edges. The pair was produced by the Edwin Bennett Pottery Company between 1890-1936 and is marked with the sword and globe emblem above ‘Alba China’ to the underside.
Condition
- three large cracks and repair to basin, dark spots of discoloration; chip to foot of pitcher, crazing throughout, discoloration.
