Item Details

A hand-knotted vintage Persian Kurdish Bijar area rug. This rug features a rich scarlet-red field with geometric motifs throughout, as well as a large central medallion in black, cream, beige, gray, and bright orange. The spandrels feature small geometric motifs in a coordinating color scheme. The main border contains a repeating stylized floral motif, which is surrounded by a minor border on either side. The rug is finished with a short natural warp fringe.
