Chinese Export Armorial Bowl

Item Details

An antique Chinese export Armorial style hand painted bowl. The central medallion coat-of-arms has a cartouche with a stag on a red background on one side and blue banners with gold stripes on the other. This is topped with a knight’s helmet with a stag’s head and surrounded by floral decorations and has a ribbon below. No maker’s marks present.

- small area of glaze loss on top surface
