Gorham "Spanish Tracery" Sterling Silver Flatware Set

A sterling silver flatware set by Gorham. This is in the Spanish Tracery pattern, first introduced in 1970, which features a straight flat handle with square tip and an embossed design of scroll and floret motifs. The forty-eight piece set includes a bon bon spoon, a sugar spoon, two ladles, two olive forks, two lemon forks, seven salad forks, eight dinner forks, eight teaspoons, a meat fork, a serving spoon, and a pierced serving spoon, all stamped ‘Gorham Sterling’ to the backs of the handles. They are presented with a cake server, eight dinner knives, four butter spreaders, a master butter knife that have stainless blades and sterling hollow handles. The set comes in a wooden flatware chest with red felt-like interior lining, and also included is a Brama silver plate on stainless spoon. The total approximate weight, excluding knives, butter spreaders, and cake server with stainless blades, is 43.845 ozt.
