Mid 20th Century Oil Painting of Prague

Item Details

An oil painting on canvas board of the Charles Bridge in Prague, attributed to listed artist Bohumir Drairsky (Czech, 1902 – 1976), dated 1953. The work is signed to the lower right corner. The piece is housed in a wood frame underneath matting and glass.

Sold to benefit the education and housing needs of children in the Tamani Kenya orphanage in conjunction with the non-profit, the Tamani World Children Project.

Condition

- abrasions along front edges of frame; minor toning to the matting; minor tears to the paper backing.
