An artist proof intaglio print on paper titled The Critic by listed American artist Michael Ponce de Leon (born 1922). The work is from an unknown publishing and thought to be circa 1953. It depicts an abstract face with an open, circular mouth, surrounded by speech bubbles containing fragments of printed articles of art critique. The print is signed to the lower right, titled to the lower center, and marked to the lower left as an artist proof. There is an informational label to the verso, and the work is presented behind a mat and glass in a black frame with hooks to the verso for hanging.

Sold to benefit the education and housing needs of children in the Tamani Kenya orphanage in conjunction with the non-profit, the Tamani World Children Project.
