A hand-knotted Isfahan wool area rug. It features a central floral medallion in a palette of ivory, shades of blue and indigo, greens, ruby and and scarlet. It has a compound herati border with an indigo blue ground color, framed by floral meandering vine and foliate elements in a complementary palette. It has overcast edges and dense wool warp fringe to each end. It is unlabeled.
