Vintage Slate Fireplate Mantle

An antique slate fireplace mantle. The piece has been separated into four parts: two L-shaped sides that are joined by angle brackets, a top rail that rests on the sides, and a top shelf that sits on the other pieces. The top shelf has a beveled edge. The sides and top rail have an enbossed design and show residue of paint or stain.
