Italian Bombe Chest of Drawers

Item Details

An Italian bombe chest of drawers, fruitwood, early to mid 20th century. The top with beveled edges overhangs a bombe case with two aligned, frieze drawers above two full width, stacked drawers. The serpentine facade drawers feature decorative metal handles. This piece rises on cabriole legs joined by a scalloped apron and terminating on shaped feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.

- cracking to wood; chips and cracking to veneer; nicks, scratches, and scuffs throughout; discoloration and staining; dust present.
