Item Details
A vintage hand-painted basket bag. This woven handbag features folk art style houses painted along the bottom, red velveteen trim to the top and handle and a hinged lid with painted mansion to the top. The interior is lined in red felted wool, and includes two small sidewall slip pockets. The underside of the lid is marked, ‘Hand painted for Charlotte Sullivan’. No visible maker’s marks or labels.
