A hand-knotted Caucasian Kazak wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of scarlet, saffron, slate blue, mahogany, sky blue, ivory, and teal. The scarlet hued field features a pole of five hooked diamond medallions, each infilled with an animal head motif, while enclosed by partial medallions along the edges. Framing the field is a laleh abbasi border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
