Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Lamberan wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a slight abrash palette of crimson, sky blue, ivory, salmon, sepia, tangerine, wheat, and denim. The crimson colored field features nine alternating hooked diamond, and square medallions, while featuring an array of flower motifs, and palmette forms. Framing the field is a denim grounded main floral designed border, along with an X and box patterned guard border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends.
