Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Indian Agra-style wool room sized rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, goldenrod, carnation, olive, wine, powder blue, sepia, ochre, and chartreuse. The ivory colored field features an allover design of branched palmettes, and leaves, accompanied by blossoms. The bold designed field is framed in an olive grounded palmette meander main border, as well as a pair of pearl designed guard borders, and a minor meandering border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
