A hand-knotted Persian Senneh wool area rug. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of sand, crimson, ivory, slate blue, indigo, wine, olive, and burnt orange. The sand colored lozenge begins with a hexagonal pendant medallion, and features a lattice of rectilinear flowering vines, along with small comb motifs. The lozenge is grounded by a crimson colored spandrels each infilled with a square medallion, along with floral motifs, and a boteh form. Framing the field is a main wine grounded Arab border, along with diamond guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
