Kent Desormeaux Autographed Memorabilia of Real Quiet Winning the 1998 Derby

A framed collection of memorabilia from the 1998 Kentucky Derby, including a photograph of the start and the finish, and a clubhouse ticket. Real Quiet won the 124th Derby with jockey Kent Desormeaux up and was trained by Bob Baffert. He went on to win the Preakness Stakes, but lost the Belmont Stakes by a nose to Victory Gallop. The piece is numbered 306 out of an edition of 1000 to the lower right corner of the mat, and autographed in black ink to the lower center margin of the mat by Kent Desormeaux. It is presented matted, under glass, in a wood frame. An explanatory noted is taped to the front of the glass and the piece is ready to hang with a wire to the verso.
