A hand-knotted Persian Kerman wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of sky blue, ivory, rose, sage, and mocha. The sky blue colored open field features a large floral themed medallion, while enclosed with a wide border with an array of ornately designed flowers and scrolling leaves. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. This rug is labeled to the underside ‘Paine Furniture’.
