Item Details
A finely hand-knotted Sino-Persian wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of pine, ivory, powder blue, rose, slate blue, silver, and mahogany. The pine colored field features an ornate design of an abundance of floral sprays throughout, including ones that form a central diamond shape. Framing the field is an ivory grounded main stylized herati border, as well as floral meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends, along with sewn on vinyl bands to the underside. This rug is unlabeled.
