Antique Walnut Victorian Carved Sideboard
Item Details
An antique walnut Victorian sideboard. This sideboard, features a tall, triangular pediment and elaborately carved back, with a pierced stylized fleur-de-lis . Other motifs include: a shield with a carved bell flower, swags, fruit, roundels, and a carved bucolic scene. The lower portion has a rectangular top with beveled edges overhanging two aligned drawers. Below the drawers, the cabinet doors are accented with recessed panels that are embellished with beveled and applied decorative elements. The cabinet doors are fitted with brass locks and skeleton keyholes. The doors open to reveal a single plank board shelf. The case rises from a conforming plinth base.
