Ridgways "Old Derby" and Other Antique Imari Decorated English Tableware
Item Details
A collection of antique imari decorated English tableware. Featured is a Ridgways plate decorated in the Old Derby pattern in the manner of the Regency period. Accompanying the plate are a porcelain shell form example and a handled earthenware dish. All the pieces date to the last quarter of the nineteenth century, the Ridgways circa 1880, based on the printed mark on the underside. The remaining examples are free of maker’s marks.
