Item Details

An antique Etruscan revival Furnival earthenware wash basin. The piece features a classical design with a figure on horseback in the act of spearing a lion surrounded by a bright scalloped and feathered border in pink and teal with the pattern continuing to the exterior in golden yellow. The piece bears an impressed ‘Furnival’ mark to the underside over a ‘P’ placing production between 1864-90.

- discoloration and staining to well; spots, crazing, and marks to underside.
