Item Details

An antique Italian walnut savonarola chair, in the Renaissance style, 19th century. This chair features a scalloped crest rail and carved back panel with a grotesque carving and scrollwork joining curved armrests. The chair includes a curved, leather upholstered seat with oversized brass nailhead trim. The chair rises on splayed legs joined by a decorative stretcher.

- loose joints, chair wobbles; scuffs and chips to finish; leather cracked, ripped, and stained; discoloration to finish.
