A 2012 hand-painted lacquerware charger by Linda Tong. This contemporary wooden charger features layers of glossy black lacquer, a 24k gold rim, and concentric bands of intricate Indo-Persian inspired lotus and palmette designs created with oil paints and crushed eggshells. The piece is signed and dated to the reverse by the artist.
