Bayard French Carriage Clock
Item Details
A Bayard French carriage clock. A brass framed clock by Duverdrey & Bloquel of Paris, France. The clock has a classic carriage style with a brass handle on the bonnet and beveled glass on the sides displaying the inner workings of the clock and a glass front panel. The front panel displays a white dial with black Roman numerals and hands with a decorative floral design accenting the dial. The clock has an 8-day movement, a brass door on the verso and stands on a plinth style base with bracket feet. The clock is marked ‘Bayard’ on the dial and ‘Duverdrey & Bloquel’ on the door.
