An extraordinary antique sterling silver shell shaped serving spoon by Whiting Manufacturing (New York, 1866-1926). The heavy sterling silver spoon has a scalloped bowl with water lilies blooming on a suggested pattern of waves. Both the front and back of the scrolled handle are beautifully detailed. The spoon is appropriately hallmarked and the total approximate weight is 6.471 ozt.
