Early 20th Century English Style Regulator Wall Clock
Item Details
An early 20th century English style regulator wall clock. A clock with a golden oak finish on select hardwoods that features an English Fancy style case with a mechanical clock and calendar. The case has a round bonnet that frames a brass and glass front door. The door displays an antique white paper dial with black Roman numerals and a calendar with black Arabic numbers on the outer dial. The dial has black hands with a crescent accent and two brass key arbors. Other features of the clock include carved wood side columns that flank a drop with a glass front door with ‘Regulator’ in gilded letters and the door displays a brass pendulum. The clock has an 8-day time and strike and calendar movment with a curved base that features decorative wood scrolls and a hook for hanging on the verso. There are no apparent makers marks.
