Vintage Chinese Carved Wood Armchair with Dragon Motif

A vintage Chinese carved wood armchair with dragon motif. This exotic hardwood piece features an ornately carved back panel with dragon motif and scroll embellishments throughout. The chair features sloping, curved armrests with carved scale style detail terminating in dragon head handholds. This piece includes a rectangular seat with scalloped edges rising on carved cabriole legs joined by a carved apron and terminating on scroll feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.
