An East Asian ‘silk painting’ style embroidery. This highly detailed, hand-stitched piece depicts a road winding through a forest in the autumn, leaves turned yellow and coating the ground. There is a stitched red real to the lower left and the work is presented behind a layered mat and glass in a wood frame with rope to the verso for hanging.
