Antique Victorian Armchair

Item Details

An antique Victorian armchair. This chair features a straight crest rail with mahogany stain and carved floral embellishments over a carved, shaped splat with floral and acanthus leaf motif. The chair includes curved armrests with carved handholds flanking an upholstered seat cushion with brass nailhead trim. The chair rises on curved legs joined by a curved apron. There are no visible maker’s marks.
