Item Details
A finely hand-knotted and carved Chinese area rug. This silk rug is rendered in a palette of onyx, ivory, lavender, teal and shades of blue. It features a large cluster of crisply rendered flowers, buds and foliage in each corner of an otherwise open, onyx field, the floral and foliate elements spilling onto a wide ivory main border. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with a kilim skirt and long ivory warp fringe.
