A hand-knotted Persian Kashan silk accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, indigo, coral, sky blue, mint, fern, scarlet, and silver. The ivory colored field begins with a lobed diamond shaped pedant medallion, along with coral grounded spandrels that coordinate in the same floral theme. Intricately detailed floral bouquets fill the field, featuring an array of blooms. Framing the field is a main indigo grounded flower filled herati border, as well as floral meander guard borders, and sawtooth minor borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a silk kilim skirt with silk warp fringe to the ends. This rug is labeled ‘Genuine Hand Woven Oriental Rug’.
