Hand-Knotted Indo-Persian Wool Long Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Indo-Persian wool long rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of cranberry, indigo, powder blue, wheat, rose, sage, and apricot. The cranberry colored field features an allover design with scrolling leafy vines with added floral, and palmette motifs. Framing the field is a main indigo grounded herati border, along with a series of floral meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
