Item Details
A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Tabriz style wool palace sized runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of cranberry, indigo, ivory, mocha, sky blue, pine, wheat, and rose. The cranberry colored field features an ornate design with latticed leafy vines along with palmettes, and floral motifs, and two star shaped medallions. Framing the field is an indigo grounded main border patterned with medallions and scrolling leaves, as well as a pair of carnation meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
