A posthumous restrike etching after well-listed French Impressionist artist Pierre Auguste Renoir (1841 – 1919) titled Portrait of Berthe Morisot. The work depicts a portrait in profile of Impressionist artist Berthe Morisot (1841 – 1895). It is unsigned. The piece is presented matted in a gold tone beveled wood frame under acrylic glass, wired on the verso. This piece is included in Loys Delteil’s Catalogue Raisonné, Pierre-Auguste Renoir: L’oeuvre Gravé et Lithographié, figure 4.

Condition

- image paper is discolored; gold tone wood frame showing nicks and scratches around the frame.
