A limited edition engraving from listed Chinese artist Cheng She. The work depicts a wintery village canal scene with buildings to both sides of a deep stone-lined canal with several boats plying the water. On the left, walker with umbrellas travel along a stone path, with a tall open arch above. The work is rendered in shades of black, blue, cream and white in a dramatic graphic style. The piece is pencil-signed to the lower right margin and numbered 3/50 to the left, with title to the center. The work is displayed under glass in double mats of russet and charcoal gray with a black metal frame, wired to the verso for wall attachment. A short artist’s bio is affixed to the back.
