A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Arak wool area rug. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of sapphire, raspberry, sand, walnut, fern, powder blue, gold, rose, and ivory. The sapphire hued field is over populated with a lobed floral themed pendant medallion with radiating floral sprays, while enclosed by coordinating spandrels each infilled with a flower filled vase. Curled floral sprays fill the remainder of the field. It is framed in a main raspberry grounded unresolved floral border, with floral powder blue colored blue guard borders, and meandering minor borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
