Item Details
A hand-knotted Turkish wool area rug. This wool rug features an allover herati pattern incorporating palmettes, birds and stylized vines over a black field. The palette is black, rose, coral, cream, camel, ivory and azure. Framing the field are compound borders including running dog, floral meander and herati patterns. Selvedges are overcast. Ends finish with short cotton warp fringe. The rug is unlabeled.
