An oil painting on canvas from Jamaica. This piece depicts two silhouetted figures seated back to back with chins resting on their hands, in colorful dresses and hats on a bright yellow ground. It is signed illegibly and marked ‘Jamaica’ to the lower right. This piece is presented in a wood frame with a black fabric liner and wire to the verso for hanging.

Condition

- scuff marks along bottom portion of frame; nick at bottom center of frame; warping along left side of canvas.
