A hand-knotted Persian Soumak panel area rug, attributed to the Lurs region. This wool rug features two panels with bands of geometric motifs, connected by a knotted band. The rug comes in a palette of red, deep indigo, pale turquoise, avocado, royal blue, pink, brown, and burnt orange with orange overcast selvedges, kilim skirts, and natural warp fringe.
